I’m living proof that you can design a 7-figure beauty business that you love
I started my beauty business out of my spare room 8 years ago. From overwhelmed to running a profitable business (and working less than ever), I learned to grow my business one mistake at a time.
Now I'm teaching what I know so you can jump to the front of the queue and start designing the biz of your dreams!

Hi, I’m Lauren
A lot of lash salons get their lashes in knots when attempting to price lash refills. Overcharging, undercharging and finding a happy medium can be frustrating!
Most lash salons charge lash refills according to the number of weeks its been since their client had their last refill, e.g., 2-week refill, 3-week refill and so on. I suggest you avoid this strategy – here’s why:
Some clients lose more lashes than others in the same timeframe. Let’s say it’s been 2-weeks since your client came in. You use the above pricing method to book her appointment based on a 2-week refill service and allow 40 minutes.
Your client shows up. She hasn’t looked after her lashes, and there’s hardly any left. You think, “OMG how the hell am I going to fill these in 40 minutes?!!”.
Now the lash boat is sinking. Your client is expecting to leave with lashes that look like her first full set, and your stress levels are skyrocketing because there’s not enough time. You rush. She leaves without a complete set and isn’t happy. You run late to your next appointment (another unhappy client) and feel crappy because you’ve slipped on the level of service you usually provide.
Now, no one feels good. Unfortunately, I learned this lesson the hard way, and I’m sharing it, so you don’t have to.
How we price refills at Allure Lash & Beauty Bar
We price our refill appointments by time, not weeks. See our pricing here.
It looks like this: 30-minute refill, 40-minute refill, 60-minute refill and on.
This lash refill pricing approach means your client is responsible for choosing the appropriate refill session.
Say your client books a 40-minute refill with you in two weeks. On the day she arrives knowing she hasn’t got many lashes left. Although she apologises profusely (because she knows she didn’t look after them), and understands there’s no way that you can fill them to their usual thickness in 40 minutes, you’re not under stress trying to meet unrealistic expectations.
Your client knows she booked a 40-minute refill, so at the end of her appointment, she thanks you for the work you provided.
Now, it’s up to your client whether she chooses to book another 40-minute appointment in a few days to return her lashes to her usual va-va-voom.
This pricing approach removes stress and running late for your other appointments from the equation – and you keep your clients happy!
